The RFBAQ is calling for nominations to be a volunteer RFBAQ Representative in the Rockhampton Area
Monday, 29 Apr 2019
RFBAQ Area Representatives are volunteers elected to represent your brigade and the brigades in the Rockhampton Area.
The RFBAQ Representative for the Rockhampton Area, Gael Hardsman has resigned from the RFBAQ Reps role as she has taken a position with the RFSQ. Gael is very passionate about volunteering and representing her brigade members in the Rockhampton RFSQ Area. We wish her well in her RFSQ staff role supporting brigades and volunteers.
Brigades have the ability to nominate a suitable person that will adequately represent the whole of their Inspectors Area in line with the By-Laws and Policies of the Association. Each rural fire brigade is entitled to one (1) nomination.
The Association provides support and financial assistance to brigades and volunteers across the State. This position provides brigade volunteers with a voice for the Rockhampton Area enabling items of improvement or concern to be carried by the RFBAQ State Executive for discussion with Management of Queensland Fire & Emergency Services (QFES), RFSQ Management and the Minister for Fire and Emergency Services.
One (1) nomination form is being mailed to each brigade secretary in the Rockhampton Area. Please forward the completed nomination form to the Returning Officer by Monday 17th June as stated at the bottom of the nomination form.
Duplicate nomination forms for a brigade will only be produced at the request of the affected brigade secretary.
