I grew up on the northern beaches of Sydney.I joined my local Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade and still am a member to this day. After completing my apprenticeship as a boilermaker/welder I travelled around Australia and have settled down in Alligator Creek, Mackay. Since joining Grasstree Beach Rural Brigade I have held the positions of 2nd officer, training officer & fire warden. The lifelong mateships created through the volunteer fire service I believe are unique and I look forward to meeting and hopefully helping out more mates as the Mackay rep RFBAQ.
