There has been a reported case of a male in Rockhampton in Central Queensland going door to door attempting to sell raffles tickets on behalf of the RFBAQ.
The RFBAQ will never knock on your door to sell raffle tickets or ask for donations.
To fraudulently represent a charity and steal money from the community is a criminal offence. If you see this person or know who this person is then please call Crime Stoppers on - 1800 333 000
The RFBAQ have contacted the Queensland Police Service regarding this fraudulent activity.
This is the first known case of its kind for the RFBAQ.
The RFBAQ is based in Gympie and we sell raffle tickets over the telephone and through our website.
This is the only way that the RFBAQ sells raffle tickets or accepts tax deductible donations. –
