It's always great to hear from brigades that have received grants!
Stoney Creek RFB and Sugarloaf RFB were both lucky enough to receive a Buy Local Brigade Grant. Some great gear for both brigades, with the money staying local.

The members of Stoney Creek RFB would like to thank you for the recent successful Buy Local Grant for our brigade which helped us with some much needed tools, a whiteboard and fridge for the station.
We appreciate your work to help all rural brigades very much.
Thanks again,
Robyn Little
Secretary
Stoney Creek RFB
Sugarloaf RFB would like to thank the RFBAQ for their generous funding of tools for our Brigade .
It makes an enormous difference having your support, as the extra things are usually hard to access with limited funds .
We also are very conscious of our local businesses as we need their support when we are protecting our community .
M&D have always been great supporters of the Rural Fire Brigades in the district. Pete from M&D was wonderful in getting all of the order together and keeping me advised.
I would like to thank Gary Patzwald the RFBAQ representative for his assistance in helping us to choose a package for our Brigade.
I wish to thank James Dean from Metabo who was extremely helpful in helping us to choose what tools 🛠️ might be most useful to us.
And of course we must thank Mick and Judy Spiller who are great supporters of the Rural Fire Service.
I believe this is a wonderful initiative of the RFBAQ.
Sincerely,
James (Mass)
