Located north of Nanango and east of Kingaroy, Booie Rise RFB is an active brigade that has 22 brigade members and covers both sides of the Burnett Highway.
The vehicle will be the property of the brigade and the Rural Fire Service Queensland will kindly provide insurance, fuel and maintenance for the life of the vehicle.
Designed by Queensland brigade members for Queensland brigades and conditions, this is the 9th Landcruiser Light Attack that the RFBAQ has given to brigades over the last 3 years, and the 12th vehicle in total, with both Birdsville RFB and Burketown RFB receiving Town Heavy Attack fire trucks and Murphys Creek RFB receiving the MercedesBenz Light Attack (see below for an overview of the other 11!).
The FusionCruiser is 100% funded by donations to the RFBAQ and the stowage, lightbars and radios were kindly supplied by RFSQ as was the fuel, accommodation and maintenance for the feedback tour with brigades.
Congratulations to Booie Rise RFB and thankyou for wearing the yellow coat, riding the yellow truck and defending your community.
Booie Rise 2nd Officer Jim Middlebrook, 4th Officer Raymond Hadley, 1st Officer Tim Harcus, local RFBAQ representative David Black, Jake Wain (Booie Rise), RFBAQ president Ian Pike and general manager Justin Choveaux
