The grant scheme that was opened in October last year closed on the 2nd October 2023.
The now closed Round 4 saw another 51 Buy Local Grants applied for by brigades across Queensland.
It will take around a week to collate these applications and seek endorsement from local RFSQ Inspectors and local RFBAQ Elected Representatives before the list is approved by the RFBAQ management committee.
Rounds 1 to 3 saw 213 grants received and approved, and to have over exceeded grant target by more than 25% shows how popular the Buy Local Grants scheme is.
100% of the funding for these grants was sourced by raffle ticket sales and tax deductible donation to the RFBAQ.
