NROSG members have been busy bees over the last few days in preparation for the cyclone coming our way so that we can assist RFS and QFES during response efforts.
We have been testing some of our communications equipment such as portable radio repeaters and Starlink kits. Kitchens and trucks were cleaned in preparation, hire vehicles, trucks and equipment were collected, frozen meals to feed support crews arrived and containerised equipment has been cleaned and tested ready for use.
We cannot thank our members enough for taking time away from preparing their own homes and properties. Your hard work is very much appreciated.
