QBANK is delighted to announce the 2023 Everyday Hero Awards, recognising exceptional people within Queensland Police, Fire, Health, Corrections, Justice, and Public Service.

Each year, QBANK puts the spotlight on the hard work, dedication, and exceptional service these everyday heroes provide to Queenslanders, who have gone above and beyond to protect, serve and heal their communities.

On Wednesday 27th October 2023, QBANK will host a celebratory lunch where we will announce winners across six award categories:

  • Dedication
  • Ownership
  • Achievement
  • Excellence
  • Working Together
  • Young Hero Award (ages 12 to 17)

You can recognise and celebrate your family, friends and colleagues who go above and beyond within their roles, either behind the scenes or on the frontline by submitting a nomination in any of these award categories.

All finalists will receive an invitation to attend the awards lunch at the W Hotel Brisbane. The winners will receive $2,000 cash deposited into their QBANK account.

In addition, $1,000 will be donated to a nominated charity per award category.

That's an additional $6,000 going to six independent charities.

When thinking about who to nominate, consider whether someone has exemplified professional commitment, community dedication, outstanding performance, innovation, ownership, or teamwork.

The awards are a way in which QBANK can say thank you to their Member Communities.
