Yesterday afternoon in Gympie RFBAQ staff handed over the major prize from Art Union 99 to the lucky winner Karen.
When Karen received the call on the draw day advising she had won a brand-new Toyota Fortuner Crusade valued at $71,597rrp she was in absolute disbelief.
After many phone calls and confirmation from John Madill’s Toyota as well, she finally realised she had won.
We had a lovely chat yesterday and Karen was telling us that her and her partner come from an Orchard background growing many types of fruits and their land backs onto a state forest.
And anytime there is any sign of fire they call their local Rural Fire Brigade as their property has only one road access, so they need to act quickly.
