This morning at John Madill Toyota in Gympie the RFBAQ handed over Art Union 97’s Major Prize.
A brand-new Toyota Kluger Hybrid to Katherine from Mount Marshall which is between Warwick and Toowoomba.
When Scott found out he had sold the winning ticket he called Katherine with the amazing news and like most she was shocked and didn’t believe him.
Katherine mentioned to Scott that she has never won anything so to win a car was amazing.
When we were chatting today, we found out that Rural Fire Brigade firefighters have helped Katherine out 3 times in 3 years at their property. Katherine was full of praise for the commitment and professionalism show by the volunteer firefighters.
Katherine wanted us to pass on not only to Scott but all the staff at the RFBAQ, a big thank you for all we do and of course to the brigade volunteers out there everyday helping their communities.
Katherine’s last quote for today’s chat was “oh what a feeling”.
