About Us
Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland (RFBAQ) is the Queensland association that leads and represents the interests of the over 1,400+ brigades and over 28,000 volunteer brigade members in Queensland.
In addition to actively providing funding to brigades through the grants program, we pursue issues and projects of relevance to or brigades and volunteers.
RFBAQ is committed to ensuring that the wider community recognises the level of commitment, professionalism, service as well as the social and economic contribution made by the brigades and the volunteers.
In order to achieve these goals, RFBAQ proactively campaigns and lobbies all levels of Government to ensure that the views of our members are heard in the public domain.
Received a call from 0754801369?
That is our contact centre calling around the State seeking the support of the community. We sell raffle tickets and collect donations to help our volunteers.
When we call, you can always be assured that our friendly staff will give you their name and let you know how they’re calling for and why. Want some more information from them? Just ask! They will provide you with all necessary information to ensure your full confidence in any transaction.
Don’t like doing things over the phone? No problem. You can purchase tickets in our Art Unions right here on our website, and of course you can make a tax-deductible donation if you prefer.
RFBAQ is a Registered Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
