$5,000 Buy Local Grants, what are brigades asking for?

The 200 x $5,000 RFBAQ Buy Local Grant applications are coming in from brigades across the state and here are the top items -
Generators, power tools, chainsaws, backpack blowers, ice machine, laptop computers, hand tools, mowers, kitchen appliances, tv’s, BBQ, security cameras and printers.
All from local suppliers and keeping the charity dollar in your local community.
Round 1 closes on the 15th of December, so get you brigades’ application in

$1,000,000 in Grants for Queensland Rural Fire Brigades
200 x $5,000* Grants - 100% funded by donations
• Open to all Queensland brigades
• Equipment will be purchased by RFBAQ from local suppliers
• For items not already supplied by the Rural Fire Service
• One application per brigade
The grant process will be broken in to 4 rounds, with round 1 open right now!
Dates as follows:
Round 1: October 2022 - 15 December 2022 **OPEN NOW**
Round 2: January 2023 - March 2023
Round 3 - April 2023 - June 2023
Round 4 - July 2023 - October 2023
Specific dates will be announced closer to each round.
