The Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland office is closed Thursday 6th March and Friday 7th March, in response to Tropical Cyclone Alfred. We will reopen Monday 10th March, and will attend to all messages received, then.

The Great Trek

Three people (two rural firefighters and one QFD employee) will be trekking 362km over six days from Blackbutt to Killarney on the National Bicentennial Trail. To do this, they will be running 60-75km per day from sunrise to sunset and then staying overnight at Rural Fire Brigade Stations.
