Members of the Eudlo Rural Fire Brigade stand proudly in front of their new extension to the existing facility which was partly funded by a grant of $10,000 from the RFBAQ.
Previously 2 vehicles had to be tandem parked. All vehicles can now be housed away from personnel providing a safe workplace and quicker response time to incidents.
The old building is now being modified to provide for an incident room, muster room, kitchen and meeting room.
The new facility was designed by Alan Hammond an architect and longstanding member of the brigade. Brigade members have painted the internal and external walls and floor as well as assisting with the clean-up of the old building. Alan has also designed the internal structure fit out of the old building in consultation with brigade members.
